HOOVER, Ala. — A few of you may remember the Seth and Gentry podcast show. Well, we reprised it for a few minutes on Monday morning before the start of SEC media days.

Gentry Estes, the former Georgia (and Alabama) beat writer, now works for the Louisville Courier-Journal, but he joined me to offer his thoughts on a few subjects:

  • Jonathan Ledbetter’s situation, and how we agree that dismissing him would not have been the right move.
  • How Nick Saban and Alabama handled disciplinary matters, and how that may pertain to how Kirby Smart handles it.
  • And of course whether Jacob Eason should start at quarterback. Gentry did not hold back.
