Consider the Georgia football team unimpressed.

One day after footage of LSU running back Derrius Guice squatting 583 pounds surfaced online, Mecole Hardman Jr. of Georgia is going McKayla Maroney on Guice.

Apparently, according to the sophomore cornerback, Georgia running back Nick Chubb can do that. Not quite in his sleep, but fairly easily.

Ten times sounds pretty absurd. We’ll need some visual evidence, Mecole.

However, the Athens Banner-Herald did report in 2014 that Chubb squatted 700 pounds in high school to set a state record.

Guice is listed on the LSU roster at 212 pounds, meaning he’s squatting 2.75 times his body weight in the clip. Chubb, a senior, is listed at 228 pounds.

Later, Guice responded, but his tweet was eventually deleted.

We declare a squat-off!
