Georgia’s questions at running back still linger as the season opener with North Carolina approaches. Kirby Smart said that Sony Michel is more limited than Nick Chubb currently when speaking to the media on Monday.

Michel broke his arm in an ATV accident in early July, according to several reports. The university announced that had surgery on July 4 to repair the fracture  and has been rehabbing since. Chubb suffered a knee injury in a game last season and has yet to fully return. The Bulldogs take on the Tar Heels on Sept. 3, and the status of Chubb and Michel in that game is still up in the air.

“That’s yet to be determined and it’s going to stay that way for quite some time, until at least the first or second scrimmage,” Smart said.
