Another week, another Georgia game on CBS.

The network has chosen Georgia’s visit to Tennessee on Oct. 10 for its prime 3:30 slot. That makes two straight weeks, as the Georgia-Alabama game this Saturday is also on CBS in that slot.

It also means that at the midpoint of the regular season half of Georgia’s games will have been on CBS at 3:30: The trip to Vanderbilt in Week 2 was the first one.

And there’s already guaranteed to be a fourth one: The Georgia-Florida game on Oct. 31 is once again, as it almost always is, on CBS.

Georgia-Tennessee got the choice over three other SEC match-ups: LSU at South Carolina, Arkansas at Alabama and Florida at Missouri.

CBS could have used the six-day window to see what happened this weekend. Georgia not only hosts Alabama, but Tennessee hosts Arkansas. But the network only gets two opportunities per season to use the six-day window, so it chose not to burn one of them early.
