ATHENS — Georgia managed to come up with a musical act after all for G-Day. Atlanta-based rap artist Ludacris came through at the 11th hour and will entertain UGA football fans for about 15 minutes before Saturday’s 4 p.m. kickoff. Chris Bridges, as he was known when he was attending Banneker High School, really helped Georgia save face in what had developed into a somewhat embarrassing storyline for the school. As for the football game, the Bulldogs will have to work with what they’ve got. Heading into it, they’re a little light on tailbacks and defensive linemen. Regardless, the show will go on, just as the Chip & Seth Show did without our behind-the-scenes assistance.
