The Masters begins Thursday, and the University of Georgia will be well represented once again.

That’s the subject of today’s DN90.

Three former Bulldogs will tee it up in this year’s tournament. Bubba Watson will be in the field seeking his third green jacket. Kevin Kisner will make his fourth appearance at Augusta National — riding high after recently winning the WGC Match Play event in Austin, Texas, and Keith Mitchell earned a Masters berth for the first time after winning the Honda Classic in March.

UGA has a great heritage of success on the PGA Tour.

Watson, Kisner and Mitchell were all coached at UGA by the legendary Chris Haack, and are among the 10 former Haack pupils to have won on the PGA Tour.

Watson’s odds to win this years Masters are 25-1. Kisner is 60-1, and Mitchell is 150-1.

The favorites to win the tournament are Rory McElroy at 7-1, Dustin Johnson at 10-1. Justin Rose at 12-1, and Tiger Woods at 14-1.

Last year’s winner, Patrick Reed is 60-1.
