Former Georgia wideout A.J. Green leading NFL in receiving yards
Former Georgia receiver A.J. Green is representing the Bulldogs well in the NFL this season.
Green leads the NFL in receiving yards for the Cincinnati Bengals with 896. Even more impressive is that he has done that in seven games, while the next two players on the list–Julio Jones and Amari Cooper–have both played eight.

The former Bulldog also leads the NFL in receptions (59) and receiving yards per game (112). He’s currently on pace for 118 receptions for 1,792 receiving yards, which would both be career-highs.
The Bengals selected Green with the fourth overall pick in 2011, two spots ahead of Alabama’s Jones, who is currently second in the league in receiving yards.
Green had 2,619 receiving yards and 23 receiving touchdowns during his three-year career at Georgia.
