The nation’s No. 1 overall player, quarterback Justin Fields, committed to Georgia on Friday morning, giving the Bulldogs three straight classes with a 5-star signal caller.
UGA fans immediately — and rightfully so — went nuts on Twitter over their new quarterback. Fields will compete with two other former 5-star QBs, Jacob Eason and Jake Fromm, next season. Fromm has led the Bulldogs for most of the year since Eason sustained an injury in the season opener against Appalachian State.
