This game has the makings of the classic huge mismatch, one with little pizzazz. One reason for intrigue, though, is the expected debut start of highly touted freshman quarterback Jacob Eason. He led the offense on impressive drives in the season opener against North Carolina, and the Game 2 mismatch allows him a chance for more playing time.

While the eyes of Georgia will be on Eason, DawgNation’s Chip Towers provided a glimpse this week of how the eyes of Lake Stevens, Wash., will be on Eason and the Bulldogs.

Other storylines include whether Sony Michel will play, after doctors cleared him this week to see action, and eyes will be on linebacker Lorenzo Carter, who is eager to begin sacking the quarterbacks and talked this week about how the defense played overall against North Carolina and about trying to put pressure on the passer.
