ATHENS — Jacob Eason’s knee injury does not appear to be serious, according to Georgia head coach Kirby Smart.
“Got a little bit of a knee sprain,” Smart told Chuck Dowdle at halftime on the UGA radio network. “We think he could be back as early as possible. We don’t know when that (would be).”
Eason was injured in the first quarter running out of bounds. Jake Fromm replaced him and led Georgia on three scoring drives, as the Bulldogs took a 21-0 lead into halftime.
