ATHENS — Georgia placed just one player on the first team of the SEC’s All-SEC squad, announced Tuesday out of the league office in Birmingham.

Senior John Theus, who spent most of the season at left tackle before switching to right for the last four games, was named a first-team All-SEC offensive lineman. The teams were voted on by the SEC coaches, who could not select members of their own teams.

Outside linebacker Leonard Floyd and safety Dominick Sanders were recognized as members of the second team.

Expect more representation from Georgia on the All-SEC freshman team, which will be announced Thursday.
