Podcast: CBS writer says UGA a program ‘on the verge of exploding’

Brandon Adams

Georgia football has been called a “sleeping giant” for years. The assumption being that UGA has all the necessary resources in place to win national championships, but — for whatever reason — the program hasn’t been able to take advantage of its opportunities.

The latest writer to make this claim about the Bulldogs is Ben Kercheval from CBS Sports. I’ll discuss his viewpoint about UGA and more today on DawgNation Daily — the daily podcast for Georgia Bulldogs fans.

Plus DawgNation’s Chip Towers also joins the show and we’ll talk about…

  • Chip’s outlook for UGA this spring — including the possibility that tight end Isaac Nauta could have a breakout season
  • A preview of the Next Generation series piece on incoming freshman offensive lineman Netori Johnson
  • And some thoughts on UGA’s basketball loss to Arkansas on Saturday.
