Podcast: Former SEC QB offers harsh critique of UGA’s Jacob Eason
Georgia football fans are reacting to former Alabama quarterback and SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy’s comparison between UGA’s Jacob Eason and South Carolina signal caller Jake Bentley. McElroy thinks Bentley is the better of the two at the moment, and he said “it isn’t close” when he joined the Cole Cubelic radio show on Monday.
I’ll talk about that comment today on DawgNation Daily — the daily podcast for Georgia Bulldogs fans.
I’ll also talk about the Bulldogs recent success in finding 3-star prospects that become big contributors for the program.
DawgNation’s recruiting insider Jeff Sentell also joins the show and some of the topics we cover include…
- The latest news on 5-star running back Zamir White — including what is possible visit to Clemson means to his recruiting
- What to make of some of UGA’s most important commits for the 2019 class admitting they still plan to visit other schools
- A look at 4-star defensive end Brenton Cox — a player whose college decision is apparently between UGA and Ohio State
- And Jeff explains why the outlook for Georgia’s 2018 class might not be as bleak as some have suggested.
