ATHENS — Georgia women’s basketball opened the season hosting Stetson. Not even knowing what the outcome would be, fans stormed the court.
As the Lady Bulldogs led the Stetson Hatter 39-32 going into the half, Silentó, a rapper out of Atlanta, performed his chart-topping single “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).”
The artist entered onto the court riding a motorized hover board. After performing his first song, he called to the stands asking if anyone liked to dance. It wasn’t long before fans of all ages flooded from the stands to whip and nae nae with Silentó.
Silentó sat front row for the final quarter of the game where it was rumored he would be performing with a special guest post-game.
