Each week a panel of beat writers who cover all 14 SEC teams (Chip Towers of the AJC and DawgNation is one) and three national writers cast a ballot for The Official SEC Country Power Poll.

Following a 20-13 win over Auburn, UGA (7-3, 5-3 SEC) rose one spot to No. 6 in the latest Power Poll. The Bulldogs gained 128 total points, 16 more than last week.

Some voters were more impressed with UGA than others. The highest spot for which the Bulldogs received a vote was No. 3, while at least one voter had the team at No. 9. UGA is gaining momentum after back-to-back SEC wins, but its offense does not inspire much confidence.

The Bulldogs have completed SEC play and will host Georgia Southern in their final home game on Saturday before traveling to face rival Georgia Tech to finish the season.
