UGA dropped one spot to No. 8 in the latest AP Poll.
After defeating Southern University 48-6 on Saturday, UGA was bumped from the No. 7 spot by UCLA, which moved up following its 56-30 victory over Arizona State on Saturday night.
This is the lowest spot in the rankings that UGA has occupied since beginning the season at No. 9. Despite its 4-0 record, the voters may not have considered the quality of UGA’s opponents to be as high as some of the other schools’ in the top 10.
That should change this week as UGA will face No. 13 Alabama on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
