UGA hosts four-star running back Dajuan Edwards amidst Zach Evans rumors

Georgia is still believed to be in the mix for five-star running back Zach Evans, but that apparently won’t stop the Bulldogs from engaging with other running backs as the 2020 recruiting cycle nears a close.

UGA is set to host four-star prospect Dajuan Edwards this weekend from Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, Ga. Edwards is the No. 19 running back in the nation and the No. 28 prospect in the state according to the 247Sports composite.

The nature of Edwards’ relationship with the Bulldogs — including comments from DawgNation’s recruiting insider Jeff Sentell — is the subject of this edition of the Signing Day Spotlight (Video linked below).

UGA will entertain Edwards while Evans reportedly takes an official visit to Tennessee.

Edwards won’t be the only high-profile prospect on campus for Georgia this weekend. DawgNation has also reported that UGA will host two commits who didn’t sign during the early period in December — five-star offensive tackle Broderick Jones and four-star center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger.

Two UGA offensive line signees will also be in attendance to keep them company. Four-star prospect Tate Ratledge and a late addition to the class, Austin Blaske, are expected to be on hand as well.

Follow the DawgNation forum all weekend for up-to-the-minute information on all this weekend’s visitors — including Edwards — and stay tuned for rumors about Evans as well.
