ATHENS — Former UGA football coach and Collegiate Football Hall of Fame member Jim Donnan will be breaking down Georgia’s games, taking a look at the Bulldogs’ upcoming opponent and sharing some insights on the SEC twice a week for DawgNation.com this fall. You can also catch him each week on Brandon Adams’ “DawgNation Daily” podcast.

Donnan, who continues to tutor young quarterbacks on the side, says he was “really impressed” with what he saw from Georgia’s Greyson Lambert in his debut as starting quarterback this past Saturday. He also thought the Bulldogs’ defense was “a little sloppy” when the ball was in the air but gave them a pass because they were playing things “very close to the vest” schematically. He also weighs in on Alabama and Texas A&M from the SEC’s Western Division.

Later this week, Donnan will take a look at Vanderbilt (0-1), the Bulldogs’ opponent this Saturday in Nashville (3:30 p.m., CBS).
