Nearly two weeks have passed since Todd Gurley passed his physical and was cleared to begin training camp on the Rams’ active roster. His work ethic lauded, and knee seemingly at full strength, the St. Louis organization was optimistic about the former UGA star’s chances to start the season.

Gurley however, doesn’t appear as optimistic.

“I don’t know,” the Rams running back told Alex Marvez and Gil Brandt of SiriusXM NFL radio on Tuesday, when asked if he would be ready to go against the Seattle Seahawks in week one.

The rookie has yet to participate in 11-on-11 drills, and appears to be limited to individual drills, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Two weeks ago it seemed as though Gurley was poised to start the season atop the Rams’ depth chart, now he is just ready to move on to different drills.

“Hopefully within the next couple weeks I’ll be able to do something else and keep progressing,” Gurley said.
