Gurley has enjoyed a significant bounce-back season so far in 2017. As he did over the course of his career in Athens, Gurley has developed even further into a weapon catching the ball out of the backfield, pairing those skills nicely with his work running the ball.
In three games for the month, Gurley totaled 241 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns and 140 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. His 381 total yards from scrimmage lead the conference, and his 6 total touchdowns are tied for the NFL high.
