Former UGA linebacker Jordan Jenkins accomplished a childhood dream Friday night when he was taken by the New York Jets in the third round. But he still has yet to accomplish his other lifelong ambition.
He still has to open an ice cream store.
Jenkins wrote as a fourth-grader that he wanted to be a professional football player … and also wanted to open his own ice cream parlor when he grew up.
Well, Jenkins is now a grown up and could possibly use some of the money from his first NFL contract to help achieve his other dream.
