WATCH: Coin flip from Kirby Smart determines jerseys for Georgia’s spring game
Points to Kirby Smart for this effort.
On Wednesday, Georgia’s Twitter account released a cool video that showed how jersey colors were decided for the Bulldogs’ upcoming spring game. As you can see below, the coach allows quarterback Jacob Eason to make the call of heads or tails — Eason chose heads — before Smart flipped a coin. Eason won the toss, so Georgia’s offensive players earned the right to choose their jersey color for the event: Red or black.
The pick? Black, of course.
Sorry, defense, you’re stuck with red.
GDay is in a month. We need you to show up and pick your side – red or black? #REDvsBLACK pic.twitter.com/M6t2ucb7u2

This is a fun way to drum up interest for the game. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that black was chosen. If anything, it would have been a shock if offensive players had picked red jerseys for the day.
Georgia’s G-Day game will be held April 22 at Sanford Stadium.
