Comedian Jeff Foxworthy attended Georgia Tech, though he never graduated. But the Atlanta native always has had a soft spot for Georgia, and he roots for the Bulldogs. On Tuesday, Foxworthy made an appearance at Georgia’s football practice, where he had a message for any young player across the country with eyes on Athens:

In particular, Foxworthy singled out head coach Kirby Smart for building “something special” at UGA, echoing the opinions of many who have been impressed with Smart’s work on the recruiting trail. And now that he has the endorsement of Foxworthy — and others —  all that’s left for Smart to do is go out and live up to those high expectations.
