WATCH: Early enrollee Kearis Jackson shows off in UGA weight room
Why not start them early.
Kearis Jackson has a leg up on the other members of Georgia’s Class of 2018. He’s one of the early enrollees already putting in work.
Jackson, a wide receiver, told DawgNation’s Chip Towers he wanted to commit early so he could concentrate on football; he pledged to the Bulldogs in August 2017. Even though he injured his left wrist during his senior season, it’s clear he’s back in shape.
@king_kearis got the boys hyped up with 405 x5 back squat! Not bad for a young buck! #ATD @FootballUGA pic.twitter.com/J0hRL1rjBN

Five squats at 405 pounds is impressive. It’s even more eye-opening that Jackson is only 5-foot-11 and just over 200 pounds.
That kind of leg strength should come in handy to make up for his smaller frame. If he can add similar strength to his upper body, it only will help him create more separation. This is the kind of video that shows why Jackson was a 4-star recruit and so highly sought after by Kirby Smart and the coaching staff.
