ESPN’s College GameDay tugged at the heart Saturday.
During the show’s latest broadcast, a feature aired about Devon Gales’ enduring bond with Georgia’s football program. In September 2015, the then-Southern wide receiver was paralyzed during an on-field collision against the Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium. Then in August, historic flooding in Baton Rouge affected his family.
ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi did the reporting for the segment, and as described in a press release, the piece attempted to show how Gales “has found comfort and support in the UGA program throughout his recovery.”
Give the piece a watch below. It’s impossible to keep a dry eye.
