WATCH: ESPN’s David Pollack, former Bulldog, rips his pants doing box jump on Gameday
David Pollack is probably more proud than embarrassed about this one.
The ESPN College Gameday analyst proved his colleagues wrong as he completed a 50-inch box jump on the set Saturday morning — but it cost him his trousers.
“My pants definitely ripped,” Pollack said after leaping atop the platform.
Pollack clearly has still got it, even more than a decade removed from the last of his three first-team All-America seasons at Georgia. The Bengals selected Pollack, a linebacker, in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft but his career was cut short by a neck injury he sustained in just his second season in the NFL.
