WATCH: Georgia QB Jake Fromm finds Terry Godwin on 47-yard TD bomb
Georgia’s offense has been having its way with Vanderbilt’s defense, especially on the ground. However, that success in the running game opened up a big play for the Bulldogs in the third quarter.
Quarterback Jake Fromm had only thrown for 51 yards before connecting with receiver Terry Godwin in stride on this beautiful 47-yard touchdown pass early in the third quarter.
The play-action to Sony Michel left Godwin one-on-one with Vanderbilt’s Joejuan Williams, who was burned pretty badly by Godwin. This score gave Georgia a 28-7 lead.

Before that score, the Bulldogs had gotten 210 of their 257 total yards from the running game, which is having quite a day against the Commodores led by the efforts of Nick Chubb and Michel.
