It looks like Georgia is going to be getting a great one in 5-star wide receiver Dominck Blaylock, as he scored the first two touchdowns of the All-American bowl.
Blaylock, who has signed with Georgia and will enroll in the summer, took a short pass from Wisconsin signee Graham Mertz and raced down the sideline to start the day with a 58-yard touchdown.
Blaylock hails from Marietta, GA and played at Walton High School. He is the nation’s No. 6 wide receiver in the country.
Blaylock scored another touchdown on the next drive, as he hauled in another pass from Mertz. Both of his touchdown catches came on third down.
With the news of Mecole Hardman and Riley Ridley leaving for the 2019 NFL Draft, Blaylock will likely step into a much bigger role next season. And he showed on Saturday that he is more than capable of making a big-time play in the game.
Past alums to play int he All-American Bowl include Andrew Luck, Odell Beckham, Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.
Another wide receiver from the state of Georgia is set to announce his commitment during the game, as 5-star Jadon Haselwood will announce during the fourth quarter of the game. Georgia target and 4-star DB Tyrique Stevenson will also announce his commitment during the game.
