WATCH: Georgia trick play goes disastrously wrong
2016 has often not been kind to the Georgia Bulldogs. After coming in with hopes of winning the SEC East, they’ve suffered a handful of tough losses in head coach Kirby Smart’s first season.
Today’s game against Auburn has gotten off to a similarly rough start. On the Bulldogs second drive of the game, UGA was able to steadily move down the field, getting well into Auburn territory. But then they decided to get cute:

That is not the way they drew it up, as WR Terry Godwin was intercepted by Auburn DB Tray Matthews. To make matters worse, Auburn was able to take that gift and convert it into a three-yard touchdown by Kerryon Johnson. The Tigers lead the Bulddogs 7-0 midway through the second quarter.
