When the fourth quarter of the SEC title game began, Georgia led Auburn 13-7 and people were talking about how nice it was to finally see a competitive championship game. Just a few minutes later, Georgia’s D’Andre Swift was crossing the goal line, effectively ending that narrative before it could catch fire.
With a little less than 11 minutes left against Auburn, Swift took a carry on his own 36. He would hardly be touched on his way to the end zone:

That was only Swift’s fourth carry of the game, but he made the most of it. Following Swift’s run, Georgia is running away from Auburn 28-7 and cruised to its first SEC title since 2005.
