Offensive lineman aren’t often noticed unless they get beat for a sack, but Isaiah Wilson is changing all that for the better — and on one occasion, worse — with the Tennessee Titans.
Wilson’s hilarious draft day moment proved a sign of things to come, some still chucking at how it appeared his mother literally pulled his girlfriend off his lap as he sat straight-faced in the moment of being the No 29 overall pick.
More recently, Tennessee Titans’ teammate Taylor Lewan, a six-year veteran with a colorful personality of his own, taped a hilarious skit involving an unsuspecting Wilson.
“Today on camping with Taylor we have across a sleeping Panda, and if you are very quiet, you will be able to see him, but don’t startle him. Shhh!” Lewan said, low crawling over to a napping Wilson, whose nickname is ‘Panda.’
“Magnifiant créature. Oh beautiful!”

The Tennessee Titans retweeted it, and Wilson had a laugh at his own expense and retweeted, too.
Fact is, there’s plenty for him to celebrate after spending just three seasons at Georgia before exiting a first-round pick.
Wilson signed a four-year contract the NFL reported to be worth $11.57 million, including a $5.97 million signing bonus that had him laughing all the way to the bank.
The 6-foot-6, 350-pound Wilson remains somewhat raw and a tad top-heavy in pass blocking, but his run blocking is more than adequate, and the Titans’ staff obviously feels comfortable they can coach him up.
Most importantly Wilson needs to make sure he doesn’t have too much fun.
Wilson received a trespass warning at an off-campus party last month at Tennessee State in Nashville. He reportedly considered jumping off a second-story balcony to avoid getting caught, according to a police report.
The matter was handled internally, and Wilson continues to practice with the team.
