The momentum was all Alabama’s after the Crimson Tide scored their first touchdown, but Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm and wide receiver Mecole Hardman made sure that it didn’t last long on Monday night.
With the score 13-6, Fromm found Hardman for an 80-yard reception to take a 20-7 lead in the National Championship Game in Atlanta.

That was some excellent footwork by Hardman to stay inbounds and complete the run for the touchdown.
That was the longest play allowed by Alabama’s defense this season, with the previous being 54 yards.
