It’s been almost two weeks since Georgia lost in overtime to Alabama in the National Championship Game in Atlanta.
And while the players on the team surely have taken their time to recover from and think about the close loss, it appears that they are starting to see the bright side of life again.
In a video posted by quarterback Jake Fromm on his Facebook page earlier this week, the freshman and one of his receiving targets, tight end Isaac Nauta, had some fun on stage at a Cole Swindell concert.
Nauta began by discussing the season and holding his pointer finger and thumb centimeters apart and saying. “We were this close.” And then he and Fromm together said, “We’ll be back!”
And then they called the Dawgs, because of course you do when you go to Georgia and you’re on a stage somewhere. Watch the awesome video below:
Two of Georgia’s brightest young stars just being kids and loving life. It’s important we remember that football is only part of the fun.
