Watch: Jake Fromm signs his financial aid papers to enroll early at UGA
WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Jake Fromm is going to play at Georgia.
He removed all doubt from that on Wednesday in a signing ceremony at Houston County High School. The 4-star QB commitment let the world know he’d signed his financial aid papers with UGA.
Fromm will graduate in December and enroll early in January at Georgia. He’ll report to Athens after he spends a week in San Antonio for the U.S. Army All-American game.
The ceremony featured a moving tribute from Houston County head coach Von Lassiter and defensive coordinator Ryan Crawford. Both men shared what it was like to coach a player rated as the nation’s No. 4 pro-style quarterback prospect for 2017.
Lassiter was moved to tears during stretches of his remarks about his senior quarterback. Fromm then went to the podium and shared his appreciation for his time at Houston County.
DawgNation streamed the ceremony live from its Facebook page. The video of the event is embedded below.
