KENNESAW, Ga. — Justin Fields is the nation’s top uncommitted player in the 2018 recruiting class, but the 5-star quarterback didn’t shoot up the national rankings until after his junior year at Harrison High School.

Now the former Penn State commit is preparing for his senior year, and after one scrimmage, it’s clear why Fields is in demand from schools such as Georgia, Auburn, Florida State and others across the country.

Fields threw for 2 touchdowns and ran for 2 more, but his most impressive play — a long, weaving touchdown run — was called back because of a penalty. It’s clear why Fields holds over 40 offers, as his calm, smooth throwing motion and powerful running style is reminiscent of another former 5-star dual-threat quarterback.

It’s only fitting, of course, that Fields quarterbacked Cam Newton’s 7-on-7 team during the summer.

Watch below to see Fields’ every snap from Friday night in Kennesaw. All this action was done in one half.
