WATCH: Justin Fields throws first touchdown pass in a Georgia uniform
It’s only the spring game, Georgia is still months away from playing any real competition and the Bulldogs’ still have Jake Fromm, but man did Justin Fields’ first touchdown pass in a Georgia uniform look good.
Fields tossed a perfect 15-yard touchdown pass to redshirt freshman Matt Landers in the back of the endzone.
Check it out below and try to remain calm Georgia fans.

After the touchdown pass, Fields was 14 for 23 for 192 yards and the touchdown. He’s certainly looked the part every bit as good as he was billed, as Fields was the No. 2 overall prospect in the country.
And as Georgia fans saw last year, it always helps to have a great back-up quarterback. Not even the biggest Fromm fans could’ve predicted he’d play as well he did, leading the Bulldogs to the SEC championship and an appearance in the national championship game. If Fromm were to pick up an injury, and Georgia were to have to deal with starting a freshman quarterback for the third year in a row, it looks like the Bulldogs would be in good hands.
