Mark Richt may no longer be the Georgia head coach, but he’s still the same classy guy he always has been.

After a thrilling 25-24 win over Georgia Tech, Richt was being interviewed on the field by a reporter.

During the interview, Richt took a break from answering questions to catch up with one of his former players, J.J. Green, who transferred from Georgia to Georgia Tech.

“Hey it’s great to see you buddy,” Richt said while he had a microphone on.

It’s another really cool gesture from the now Miami coach, and it shows that he still very much cares about his former players.

The Hurricanes won again on Saturday and figure to climb even higher in the rankings. And there is still the possibility that the Hurricanes and Bulldogs meet in a potential College Football Playoff game, which would be great for college football.
