WATCH: Todd Gurley scores touchdown on longest run of his season
Todd Gurley has not had the best year running behind the Rams offensive line. The second year back had just a long of 18 yards coming into today’s game. Last year, Gurley had seven rushes longer than 30 yards.
But the Rams have a new quarterback under center in Jared Goff. And the quarterback change seems to have had some effect on the Rams’ ground game.
Gurley scored on a 24-yard run in the first quarter. The carry was his longest on the season.

The touchdown drive came on Goff’s second as a starter. Coming into today’s game against Miami, Gurley has just 515 rushing yards and only three touchdowns on the season.
Gurley’s college team picked up a win yesterday, as the Bulldogs won 35-21 of Louisiana Lafayette. Georgia’s current running back, Nick Chubb is creeping up on the all-time Georgia rushing list. After his performance yesterday, Chubb is in fourth place all-time.
Gurley had this to say about his former teammate.
