WATCH: UGA LB Lorenzo Carter draws questionable flag for late hit
Georgia LB Lorenzo Carter drew a controversial penalty during the second quarter of the Liberty Bowl.
On 2nd-and-10, TCU RB Kyle Hicks ran out of bounds after an 8-yard gain. Carter appeared to grab Hicks by the back of the uniform to prevent him from running into spectators on the sideline. But Hicks’ ran over a couple of people anyway.
However, Carter drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for a late hit out of bounds.
