ATHENS — The Georgia football team did indeed get hit by the NFL draft. But it could’ve been worse. And while it also lost one of the best senior classes in program history, the Bulldogs are also in the process of bringing in what is currently the nation’s top recruiting class.

So with the NFL draft deadline having passed, and most of the recruiting class signed, here’s a snapshot of what Georgia’s depth chart looks like. And by snapshot, we mean extremely early, with still more players to be added, the possibility of attrition to come, and plenty of competition set to take place in spring practice and the preseason.

(At this time last year, if we had told you J.R. Reed would be a starting safety, Kendall Baker would start almost every game at left guard, and the starting quarterback for all but one game would be Jake Fromm, then … well, you get the point.)

So with all that said, here’s a very, very early look at the two-deep, sure to leave off players who will end up making an impact, sure to be wrong in some spots, but a best guess based on all current information:
