Zamir White welcomes UGA’s new QB: ‘Let’s work bro’
After a rough week of news, UGA’s football team heard some good stuff over the weekend.
Quarterback Jamie Newman, a graduate transfer from Wake Forest, confirmed that he has enrolled at UGA.
Bulldogs running back Zamir White was one of the first to publicly congratulate his new quarterback after Saturday’s announcement.
Welcome to the family, let’s work bro💯 https://t.co/WvmHrzjYOu

White gave UGA fans a glimpse of next season with his strong performance in the Sugar Bowl, carrying 18 times for 92 yards and one touchdown. That eased some concerns about what the Bulldogs will look like at running back without former star D’Andre Swift.
A few UGA offensive linemen also happily greeted their new teammate in Newman:
Let’s go be great brodie welcome to the family 🤟🏾🖤 https://t.co/f4qtlP2WeF
