Georgia basketball earns commitment from 2018 in-state PF Amanze Ngumezi
With star big man Yante Maten entering his senior season, Georgia basketball has to bring in some big time talent to replace one of the better players in recent program history. Late Saturday night, Mark Fox’s staff quite possibly got that player, as in-state power forward Amanze Ngumezi announced his commitment to UGA:

At 6-foot-9, 235 pounds, Ngumezi certainly has the body to come in and play in SEC competition right away. The three-star prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, is the 130th-best player in the country. However, if you prefer 247Sports’ individual rankings, they have Ngumezi as a four-star and the 64th-best player in America. He is choosing Georiga over offers from Tennessee, Wichita State, Arkansas, and several others.
