For the second time this season, the Georgia basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak with a win over Florida, beating the Gators 72-69 on Wednesday in Gainesville, Fla.
Last month, the Bulldogs snapped a three-game skid with a 72-60 home win over the Gators.
On Wednesday, Georgia had to work overtime to get the win as it rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit. The Bulldogs improved to 14-11 overall and 5-8 in the SEC, while the Gators dropped to 17-9 and 8-5.
Yante Maten led the way with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while four other Bulldogs scored in double figures: Tyree Crump with 13 points and Derek Ogbeide, Juwan Parker and Rayshaun Hammonds with 10 each.
Georgia hosts Tennessee at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
