DawgNation ventured out before kickoff to check out the best tailgating sites and sounds around Athens and even handed out a few Kroger scratch-off cards to some lucky fans.

It’s been too long since football has been played in Athens, and fans were out and about before UGA’s season opener against Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday.
