Georgia defeated Harvard, 6-2, in the opening game of the 2018 NCAA Athens Regional.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning before adding another run in the 3rd and 2 runs in the 5th.

Georgia improved its record to 43-11 with the victory. Harvard dropped to 23-17 after entering the matchup with a 2-game winning streak.
