The University of Georgia will host the opening regional round of the 2018 NCAA Softball Tournament from May 18-20, as revealed during the ESPN2 selection show live broadcast on Sunday.
The Bulldogs, who were selected as a No. 7 seed in the tournament, will face Harvard on Friday at 2:30 p.m. and the winner of Cal-Northwestern should they advance.
Georgia will need to do so without ace pitcher Brittany Gray, who experienced a season-ending right biceps injury in April.
The Bulldogs finished their season with a 43-11 overall record, including 16-8 in SEC play.
