Georgia fans got to see a couple of neat things on Saturday. They got to see the spring game, which was the first time they saw the team was in action since the national championship game. They got to see Justin Fields’ debut and first touchdown pass. And now they can see what the SEC Championship rings that the 2017 Bulldogs won look like.

A number of players from the team were sporting them at G-Day, such as Nick Chubb, Sony Michel and Roquan Smith who are all going to be top picks in next week’s NFL draft. But thanks to Dawg Nation’s Brandon Adams and former Georgia tight end Jeb Blazevich we got an up close and personal look at the championship rings

And they’re both real and spectacular.

Georgia got those rings by marching through the regular season with an 11-1 record. The Bulldogs’ only regular season loss came at Auburn, but Georgia avenged that loss with a 28-7 victory in the SEC Championship game. Georgia then went on to beat Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl before coming up just short against Alabama in the national title game.

While Georgia does lose a lot from last year, it also has loads of talent, led by quarterback Jake Fromm as well as defensive back Deandre Baker. The senior defensive back got the better of Fromm on Saturday, as he picked him off early in the game and returned the interception for a touchdown.

The black team came away with a 21-13 win over the red team, which was quarterbacked by Fromm. Georgia fans can next see the Bulldogs on Sept. 1, when they take on Austin Peay. That game will be played in Sanford Stadium.
