ATHENS — Georgia has added another Bell to the program, as Vanderbilt running back Micah Bell announced he would be transferring to Georgia.

Bell will have three years of eligibility remaining. He is the younger brother of Georgia wide receiver Dillon Bell, who announced on Tuesday that he would be returning to Georgia for another season.

Micah Bell signed with Notre Dame as a member of the 2023 recruiting class out of The Kinkaid School in Houston. He was a 4-star prospect in that class, originally committing to play cornerback. He appeared in three games for the Fighting Irish, finishing with a tackle for loss.

Bell did not appear in any games for Vanderbilt this past season.

As for Dillon Bell, he caught 43 passes for 466 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while adding 107 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground as well.

Georgia welcomed another set of brothers via the transfer portal on Sunday, as it added wide receiver Zachariah Branch and safety Zion Branch from USC. Georgia also has tight end Oscar Delp and tight end Henry Delp on the team as well.

With Micah Bell joining the fold, Georgia now has added six players via the transfer portal thus far. It lost a total of 11 players to the transfer portal, including two wide receivers in Michael Jackson and Anthony Evans.
