Georgia appears well on its way to landing one of the best signing classes in the country in the 2018 recruiting cycle, and it could end up being one of the program’s best ever classes.

The Bulldogs have landed three 5-star commits, and they have 5-star targets all over the place. College football’s first-ever early signing period, which runs Dec. 20-22, should be huge for the program, starting with a big day Wednesday.

The majority of the Bulldogs’ current class is expected to sign national letters-of-intent as early as Wednesday. Here are the live updates throughout the day:

8:53 p.m.: The hits just keep on coming. Channing Tindall, the nation’s No. 5 outside linebacker, committed to the Bulldogs on Wednesday night, while 4-star defensive back Nabad Joseph, who had been committed to Alabama, signed with Georgia. It has been a crazy day for Georgia fans.

3:35 p.m.: The Bulldogs aren’t slowing down any are they? They just landed Brenton Cox, a  5-star defensive end from Stockbridge. Cox is the No. 2 strongside defensive end in this class and the No. 22 player overall. He picked Georgia over Alabama. Cox is Georgia’s sixth 5-star prospect in this class. According to DawgNation’s Jeff Sentell, the Bulldogs had never signed more than three 5-star recruits in a class before Wednesday.

2:40 p.m.: Georgia continues to pile up 5-star talent on its offensive line. The Bulldogs added 5-star tackle Cade Mays from Knoxville, Tenn. He is the No. 2 tackle in this class and the No. 16 player overall.

2:15 p.m.: Georgia’s strong morning and early afternoon continued as Adam Anderson sent in his paperwork to officially join the program. Anderson is a 5-star outside linebacker. The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder helped lead Rome to back-to-back state titles.

12:32 p.m.: The Bulldogs have their quarterback, and he’s one of the best in the nation (maybe even the best in the nation). Justin Fields signed at his high school (Harrison) in Kennesaw. He is a 5-star and is ranked as the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the nation. Fields stands 6-foot-3 and 221 pounds.

11:40 a.m.: The nation’s No. 1 running back has signed with the Bulldogs in Zamir White. White, who is still recovering from a torn ACL, is a 5-star prospect from Laurinburg, N.C. White is 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds and adds even more talent to that deep and dangerous Georgia backfield.

10:50: Some more big news for the Bulldogs as Divaad Wilson picked Georgia over South Carolina. Wilson is a 4-star cornerback from Miami.

10:45 a.m.: Georgia’s deep running back group just got a lot more talented as James Cook signed. Cook is a 4-star, 5-foot-11, 181-pounder from Miami.

10:30 a.m.: The news continues to be terrific for Georgia’s offensive line, although this was expected. Trey Hill, a 4-star guard from Warner Robins, has signed. Hill is 6-foot-3 and 346 pounds. Hill committed earlier this month.  Offensive line coach Sam Pittman is REALLY pleased.

10:05 a.m.: The first big news of the day is in as Jamaree Salyer has picked the Bulldogs. Salyer is a 5-star guard from Atlanta. Salyer is the No. 1 guard in the nation and the No. 10 player overall. Check out his video and why he picked the Bulldogs.
