There’s a new offer out for UGA.

Well, it’s not really a new offer, but it’s newly known because it was made last month without any fanfare.

UGA assistant Bryan McClendon traveled to Texas on the eve of the Vanderbilt game a few weeks ago to check out Davion Curtis, a speedy senior receiver from Temple High School who committed to the Bulldogs last summer.

While McClendon was in Texas, he noticed another Temple player – Taquon Graham, a 4-star defensive end who has five offers, including Nebraska and TCU. Add UGA to that offer sheet, according to Temple coach Mike Spradlin.

“I’m seriously considering (UGA),” Graham told the AJC’s DawgNation.com.

And one reason Graham likes UGA is because of Curtis. “It gives Georgia a little bit of a bonus because (Curtis) is my teammate. I’ve been around him for a while now.”

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Graham has nearly a 4.0 GPA and he’s rated as the No. 33 overall prospect out of Texas for 2017.

He talks about his UGA offer and what it means in the above video.
